1. Herpes simplex

Herpes simplex is caused by the herpes simplex virus and can be spread through kissing an infected person or sharing eating utensils, towels, razors, etc.

The site of onset of herpes simplex is usually at the junction of the skin and mucous membrane, such as the corners of the mouth, near the nostrils, etc. The most common one is herpes simplex on the lips.

In the early stages of the disease, patients will develop a rash on the local skin and have a slight fever, which will slowly develop into small blisters.

The skin and mucous membrane lesions of primary herpes simplex usually take 2 to 3 weeks to heal, while the skin lesions of recurrent herpes simplex usually disappear within 1 week.

2. Herpes zoster

Shingles is caused by the varicella-zoster virus and is more common in middle-aged and elderly people.

A few days before the rash appears, there may be prodromal symptoms such as low fever and fatigue. There is a burning sensation first, followed by the appearance of papules and blisters ranging in size from millet to soybean, with tense and shiny walls, each independent, which may cluster into pieces but not merge, often with obvious burning or needle-like pain, and often erosion or secondary infection due to blister rupture.

The lesions are distributed along the course of the skin nerves, usually not crossing the midline of the trunk. The thorax, waist, face and limbs are the most common sites. The onset is rapid and the pain is severe. It usually heals itself in 2-4 weeks.

3. Chickenpox

Chickenpox is one of a Skin diseases. It is an acute infectious disease caused by the initial infection of the varicella-zoster virus. Chickenpox has a high rate of infection.

It mainly occurs in infants and young children, and is characterized by the appearance of maculopapular rashes, blisters and scabs in batches on the skin and mucous membranes, and the presence of rashes in different stages at the same time. The disease is a self-limiting disease, and patients can obtain lifelong immunity after the disease, but the infection may recur after many years and cause herpes zoster.

4. Common warts

The skin lesions are mostly mung bean-sized hemispherical papules with a smooth surface, waxy luster, soft texture, and an umbilical depression in the center. They are reddish, grayish white, or normal skin color, and contain cheesy white matter, which are small molluscum bodies. They are often infected after scratching due to itching. It is often multiple and vary in number. They are more common on the trunk and limbs, and are more common in children and adolescents.

5. Impetigo

Impetigo is one of skin diseases, prevalent in summer and autumn and is more common in children aged 2 to 7 years old.

It manifests as papules or erythema, on which thin-walled blisters the size of soybeans develop, which quickly turn into pustules with obvious red halos around them. After the pustules burst, the pus dries and forms thick honey-yellow scabs, which continue to expand in all directions and can fuse with each other.

The patient feels itchy and scratching often spreads bacteria to other parts of the body, causing new rashes.

It is common on the face, around the mouth, around the nostrils, on the auricles and exposed parts of the limbs. The scab will fall off on its own in about a week and heal without leaving scars. Severe patients may have complications such as lymphadenitis and fever.

Sixth, eczema

Eczema is a one common inflammatory skin diseases. The epidermis and superficial dermis cause by a variety of internal and external factors.

It is characterize by conscious and severe itching, polymorphic skin lesions. Symmetrical distribution on the hands, legs, breasts, ears, and anus, a tendency to exudate. A chronic course, and easy recurrence.

There are many causes of eczema. Including infection, genetics, environmental factors, certain drugs, spicy and irritating foods, in addition, chronic gastrointestinal diseases, chronic alcohol poisoning, intestinal parasites, metabolic disorders. Endocrine disorders and other factors are all causes of eczema.

Patients with eczema should try to avoid adverse external stimuli and avoid eating allergenic and irritating foods. Such as seafood, peppers, wine, coffee, etc. At the same time, keep the skin clean, prevent skin infections. Avoid overwork, and maintain an optimistic and stable mood, which can help the recovery of eczema.

7. Neurodermatitis

Neurodermatitis is also called chronic simple lichen. It is more common in adults, and children generally do not get sick.

There is an initial itching sensation, but no primary skin lesions. Due to scratching and friction, flat papules gradually appear on the skin. Which gradually increase in number and merge into flakes, becoming thickened and lichenified.

The symptoms are darkening of skin lines, raised skin ridges, dark brown and dry skin lesions. The rash often occurs on the neck, extensor side of the limbs, lumbar sacral region, popliteal fossa, and vulva.

Patients with neurodermatitis need to stay optimistic. Avoid emotional stress, pay attention to the combination of work and rest, reduce stimulation. Adjust their diet, limit alcohol and spicy food, maintain smooth bowel movements, and actively treat gastrointestinal lesions. This is conducive to the rapid cure of skin diseases.
